Fishing Club Information

MEMBERSHIP

Only Financial Members with the exception of Sub-Junior and Junior Members of the Club Munmorah United Bowling Club will be admitted as members of this club and any member who becomes non-financial with the parent club is automatically suspended from the Fishing Club with the exception of Life Members.

 

The end of the financial year shall coincide with the Munmorah United Bowling Club. Membership fees shall be payable before 30th June.

 

 

All members will be bound by the guidelines of the Munmorah United Fishing Club Constitution and Fishing Rules.

Membership Forms are available at the reception of Club Munmorah United Bowling Club.

 

Please note that any correspondence may be sent to the Club Munmorah United Bowling Club and marked for the attention of the Secretary.

$5.00 Annual Subscription

Every member on joining this club shall pay an annual subscription, which is decided at the Annual General Meeting of each year.

$2.00 per year

Junior Subs Only $2.00 per year. The end of the financial year shall coincide with the Munmorah United Bowling Club. Membership fees shall be payable before 30th June.

History

 

Established in 1989, we hold monthly fishing competitions both within our club and against other local fishing, sporting and recreation clubs on the Central Coast and several away competitions throughout the year.

 

Our club has various classifications for those interested in fishing and they are.

 

  • Sub Junior aged 0-9 years
  • Junior aged 9-15 years
  • Seniors: Male and Female

 

Fishing Categories

  • Rock and Beach
  • Estuary

 

Objectives

 

  • Advance and improve the sport of amateur fishing by the club.
  • Improve good fellowship amongst members.
  • Promote and conduct competitive fishing amongst members and provide trophies and prizes.
  • Purchase, hire, lease or otherwise acquire for the purpose of the Club any real or personal property to benefit the Members to the approval of the Munmorah United Bowling Club
  • Enter into and make sure such arrangements that assist the club to achieve these goals.

 

Trophies

 

Prizes will be given annually for the largest fish of each nominated species.

 

The annual trophies shall be Champion for all Men’s, Ladies, Junior and Sub-Juniors.
